Monokini.

A monokini is, in essence, the combination of a bikini and a one-piece, where the top and bottom are connected usually via the middle torso.

The scandalous ’60s bathing suit was worn by the likes of Kim Kardashian and Audrina Patridge and designed by the well known designers such as Victoria's Secret... Why? Because this fabulous piece of swimwear hides the negative bits and accentuates the curves with its strategically placed cut-outs. This bandage-themed, dare-to-bare line of swimsuits inspired Hervé Léger in creating possibly THE nicest range of swim wear. They were a typical example of spring’s extreme cut-out, knock-em-dead pieces that appeared on the runways of Spring 2009. The down side? The risk of odd or unflattering tan lines L

From Hervé Léger SS collection last year designed by Max Azaria…

I am aware that this was last year’s bikini trend, however I believe it to be a shame that we did not see enough of it, no?? So I am still on the hunt for the perfect MONOKINI with the combinations of colours unique shape. Which ones are your favourites? ….

Anyone else weirdly obsessed with this old/gorge style of swimsuits? Tell me...
