Oh So Chanel.

I am still calming myself down from seeing the WANTED perform live at Westfields the other day… and I am still calming myself down from when we met them afterwards to get their autographs :O... and I am still calming myself down from when Tom Parker (from the WANTED!) KISSED ME :O AND HUGGED ME :O ... not to brag here, but we're practically best friends... WE ARE TIGHT.

but anywhoooo... back to blogging (about fashion)...

The contrast between designer and high-street fashion has always been vast and extremely diverse. With both having the potential to produce decent clothes for us to appreciate, they do it in individual and completely converse styles; which in turn is respected by a different "audience"... or even class. So what I found online recently challenges the stereotypical idealism of designer and high-street themes and in a subtle way combines the two; if you look carefully at the message being put across. The images have been designed, I believe, for individual interpretation and this is just mine. Maybe I am crazy for thinking the artist is trying to show what kind of world it would be if the two were somehow put together to live in harmony... I don't know... This idea is only applicable for the first image.. and as for the rest... I just think that they are might fine pieces of art indeed! What's your interpretation?? x x x Niki (LOVES THE WANTED) x x x ... (FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER... NikiLovesWanted)

And as promised from the previous posts here are a few of the pictures from when I MET THE WANTEDDDD :O

Brighton...

Having visited Brighton, Bournemouth, London and Reading in the space of 5 days, I think it's fair to say I am absolutely knackered from it all. And I have never genuinely enjoyed the beauty of my own home, appreciated my comfy welcoming bed or even admired the view from my loft window. But now since I am home once again... I thought I would share with you some of my outings.
DAY 1: BRIGHTON.
ABV Day (Annual Beach Visit) this year for me was spent trekking up to Brighton and back again in one measly school trip visit, nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed myself :D

LLOOKKYY....

Today was the first day of my summer holiday and what better day to spend it than going into London and MEETING, HUGGING, TAKING PHOTOS AND NOT TO MENTION SPEAKING TO THE WANTED!! OH AND I GOT THEIR AUTORAPHS…. :D

Dictionary definition of The Wanted....

SEPAC of AUTUMNIA ...

As always, I find myself contemplating over and over in my head about a certain craving... be it clothes, jewellery or something decorative for my bedroom. Something which is somewhat fabulously fashionable and charming and gorgeously delicate and so forth…. Yet it always seems to be extremely challenging to actually purchase my irrational craving... for two unfortunate reasons. Take exhibit a) THE PRICE...the most recurring problem is that I simply do not have enough money for everythinnggg I WANT :( the ability to save money has never been a string point of mine, however I have decided to start saving up for the summer so I can spend it wiser throughout…

…or exhibit b) The fact that I cannot find what I’m looking for ANYWHERE.. except a magazine, on the net or on the runway (bearing in mind, the catwalk only include the finest DESIGNER pieces... which to be frank, links into my first point...) which is where I came across it in the first place … THIS IS NO GOOD TO ME, since I want to find it at an affordable and convenient yet luxurious setting...
But nonetheless, after browsing the internet, I have found something which I can replicate quite simply by merely popping into my local Topshop(s) and buying...

LET ME INTRODUCE TO YOU THE CAPE OF AUTUMN/WINTER 2010...

Although we have just properly started celebrating summer (YAY!) it's good to think ahead and get all the trends in your wardrobe first! To me the cape portrays sophistication and glamour as it allures one into its mystical and enchanting openness due to its irregular form… the shape compliments all figures beautifully and the elegance it conveys in a simplistic way is absolutely overwhelming and will definitely get all heads turning this autumn. WOOP! Below I have some pictures of some rather (how should I put this…) high-end priced capes… with the Tophop ones underneath (which I have to say is pretty impressive)… COMPARE them and then tell me… Will this be one of your autumn cravings?? Because it most certainly is mine XD

TOPSHOP. . . .
